Tax enquiries are on the increase and H M Revenue & Customs departments are joining force to look at Income Tax, Corporation Tax, VAT, National Insurance and PAYE matters, all in one enquiry.  Enquiries can take the form of looking at all aspects of your affairs and those of your business.  These are called 'full enquiries', but the Revenue can also issue 'aspect enquiries' into parts or areas of your tax affairs in isolation.
