Daniel Bligh

Dan has been in the insurance broking profession for over 20 years, starting out working for an underwriting agency writing property insurance under the first UK bespoke let property insurance scheme. Dan joined Scrutton Bland in 2004 and alongside Tim Mulley, is one of Scrutton Bland Insurance Broker Ltd’s Joint Managing Directors. Taking the time to understand a client’s needs, he remains actively involved in assisting new and existing clients with their diverse insurance requirements.  Dan’s extensive knowledge of the market and professional approach ensures competitive terms with established insurers. While there is much consolidation and competition within the market, working with clients will always remain his passion and establishing successful relationships. Away from the office, Dan spends a lot of his time with his wife and two children, satisfying their Disney obsession where possible and trying to not make his beloved Arsenal make his blood boil!
