Our Risk and Assurance team works closely with clients delivering internal audits and advisory services. Our client portfolio spans not-for-profit and commercial businesses based across the Eastern and South Eastern regions and London. We are looking for an organised, conscientious and driven individual with an enquiring mind to join our team as a Risk and Assurance Trainee Auditor.

The role
Our Trainee Auditors will work towards undertaking audits both on-site and remotely as directed by our Client Managers and Partner. The successful candidate will be required to work with and without direct supervision. The role of Trainee Auditor will entail:
  • Audit preparation and planning
  • Liaising with clients at pre-audit. during the review and at debrief meetings
  • Completing audit testing and working papers to the required standard and format
  • Writing audit reports for audits undertaken
Full training will be provided and will continue as the successful candidate’s Internal Audit knowledge develops with plenty of opportunity for career progression. The successful candidate would have the opportunity to gain a professional qualification from the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors (CIIA).
 
Experience
The successful candidate will:
  • Have achieved A-Level’s or an Undergraduate degree
  • Have a full driving license and access to independent transport
  • Be interested in or already undertaking the CIA Diploma in Internal Audit Practice
  • Be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills 
  • Be a team player who enjoys working as part of a busy team to achieve team targets
  • Be competent using Microsoft Office and other software applications
