The financial services firm makes its first appointment since announcing its new logo and brand in July. The appointment of Ryan Pearcy as a Director in the firm’s Business Advisory and Cloud Accounting team closely follows the recruitment of Sarah Healey Pearce as Director last month.
Ryan’s appointment underpins the firm’s recently announced commitment to grow its presence in the South and West of the region. With its two largest offices in Colchester and Ipswich, Scrutton Bland have been working to expand its reach into Chelmsford and the South of the region and recently signed a sponsorship deal with Essex County Cricket who are based in the City.
Bringing over 12 years’ experience, of working with small and medium sized businesses where he was advising them on strategic tax planning, financial and business advice, Ryan Pearcy joins Scrutton Bland’s Business Advisory team where he will specialise in developing cloud accounting strategies and software packages for the firm’s clients.
Scrutton Bland was an early adopter of cloud based accountancy solutions and established sblive in 2016 as a solution which offered clients a combination of digital accounting software and specialist business advice. In 2017, sblive was shortlisted for a National accountancy award.

Ryan will be based at the firm’s Colchester office from where he will work with clients throughout the region, specifically in Essex to support them in business advice and cloud based software.
