Alexandra Canham

Corporate Finance Manager

Alex is a manager within the Corporate Finance team.

Alex initially trained with a top 10 accounting firm, working within their public sector audit department while she completed her AAT qualification. Alex then joined the Scrutton Bland Business Advisory department in 2013 before qualifying as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2016. During her time in Business Advisory, Alex gained experience working with a wide variety of owner managed businesses, supporting them in both a compliance and advisory capacity, eventually progressing to a manager role based in the Colchester office.

Following her return from maternity leave in 2024, Alex transitioned to the Corporate Finance team in order to broaden her experience working on valuations, disposals and acquisitions. Alex is keen to keep working directly with clients and supporting them with their needs.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with her young family, including crafting with her children and long walks with their two dogs.
