David Pickess

Audit Manager

David is a Corporate Services Manager in our Colchester Office.

With a diverse portfolio of medium-sized businesses and groups, professional practices and clients in the education and not-for-profit sectors, David is highly experienced in managing every aspect of the accountancy needs of his clients.

David is a Chartered Certified Accountant and has over 20 years’ experience with Scrutton Bland LLP, much of which has been in the role of manager. David provides external auditing and other services to a varied portfolio of clients and works closely on the planning, coordination and provision of these services to his clients. His portfolio includes a number of medium-sized businesses and groups, professional practices, clients in the education and not-for-profit sectors, and clients who are owned by overseas parent companies. In addition to ensuring that all compliance work is fully robust, David is also keen to gain a clear understanding of the business and its owners. This helps him to ensure that all of our work is planned to provide a fully tailored service to our clients and meets their individual needs. Outside of work, David’s interests include a range of sports, walking and other activities that allow him to be active in an outdoor environment.
