Piers Harrison

Audit Partner

Piers joined Scrutton Bland in September 2024 as an Audit Partner in the Colchester office.

With over 30 years of experience in audit, Piers has worked with a wide range of entities but has mostly specialised in working with medium sized companies in the technology, manufacturing and service sectors.

Piers has spent over 30 years in audit in the East of England, most of which was spent with a large national firm, where he headed up the firm’s audit team in Cambridge.

He has very broad audit experience, including all sizes of corporate entities from startups to listed companies, from local to international, and across multiple business sectors including technology, life sciences, manufacturing, services, hospitality and education.

Piers has a focus on ensuring that audits are performed efficiently and robustly, by ensuring that he firstly works with his clients to develop a sound understanding of the business and its risks, so that a tailored audit approach can be developed that responds to the key risks identified. By understanding the business and its stakeholders, Piers is better able to provide advice and recommendations that add value. Outside of work, Piers enjoys spending time with his family.
