Tessa Brown

Tax Advisory Manager

Tessa specialises in employment tax advice, supporting businesses of all sizes with a wide range of employment tax matters.

 She began her career with a local accountancy firm in 2004 before specialising in employment tax in 2016. She joined Scrutton Bland in 2026 as part of the Tax Advisory Team, bringing significant experience in employment tax and annual employer returns.

 Tessa advises employers on areas including share awards, off-payroll working, the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) and termination payments. She is a member of ACCA and qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) in 2026 through the joint ATT/CTA route.

 Outside of work, Tessa enjoys paper crafting and needlework and has recently taken up glass lampworking.
