LIFE'S A BEACH FOR NEW OWNER OF SEAVIEW HOLIDAY PARK IN WEST MERSEA, ESSEX

Scrutton Bland has recently been working with Savills, on behalf of private operator, has sold Seaview Holiday Park in West Mersea, Essex to Park Holidays (UK) Ltd. The freehold was marketed at a guide price of £6.9 million. The site has subsequently renamed to West Mersea Holiday Park.
 
Set across 31.6 acres (12.8 hectares) of land, the site comprises 222 pitches, which can accommodate up to 219 single and three twin static holiday caravans. A further 185 pitches are privately owned, with a further 35 vacant serviced pitches available. There are also a number of holiday lodges within a private gated area towards the northern end of the park.
 
Seaview also comes with an adjoining beach, with 125 beach huts, 122 of which are occupied by private owners. Additional buildings on the site includes a club house and an amenity block.
