Joy Shaw

Senior Tax Adviser

Joy is a member of the Tax Advisory Team, specialising in assisting businesses with post-Brexit regulations.

Joy is a trained accountant and now specialises in tax advice for business clients, and in particular helping businesses navigate the minefield of post-Brexit import and export trade issues.

With a background in Business Advisory, Joy has been working in the Tax Advisory Team for the past 3 years, with a specialism in import and export trade-related issues post-Brexit, and employer compliance tax advice. Drawing on years of business experience, Joy can advise on a wide range of topics. Joy trained as an accountant with Scrutton Bland, and after a break working in Industry, returned to the firm, and has divided her time between the Tax and Business Advisory Departments, working closely with clients. Joy’s interests outside of work include mountain and coastal trekking, canoeing, cycling and wildlife conservation.
