Tyler Hursey

Tax Adviser

Tyler works in our tax team in Colchester.

An experienced and qualified tax adviser, Tyler currently works in our Tax Advisory department in Colchester.

Tyler joined Scrutton Bland in 2016 as an apprentice. After completing his ATT and CTA exams he became fully qualified in 2021.

He started in the Personal Tax department preparing Tax Returns for high net worth individuals, then worked in the Corporation Tax department preparing Corporation Tax Returns for clients ranging from small and medium-sized companies to large worldwide companies. Tyler currently works in our Tax Advisory department where he specialises in Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and Research and Development.

Outside of work Tyler enjoys going to the gym and playing football. He was part of the victorious Scrutton Bland football team which won the 2019 Nexia Football tournament in Paris as well as the 2022 World Cup on Sea tournament in Southend.
