Sterling Mayes

Tax Adviser

Sterling supports high net worth individuals with tax returns and tax planning. Specialising in Personal Tax Returns, Capital Gains Tax, Personal Tax Advice.

Sterling joined Scrutton Bland in 2018 as an apprentice. After completing his ATT and CTA exams he became fully qualified in 2023. Sterling is primarily based in our Colchester Office however often visits our Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds offices as well. Working within our private client tax team he provides support to individuals with their annual Self-Assessment Tax Returns. He is also keen to assist clients to identify potential tax planning opportunities to mitigate exposure to income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax. In his spare time, Sterling enjoys going to the gym, playing football and badminton. Sterling is a regular within the Scrutton Bland football team and was a part of the 2022 World Cup on Sea Tournament in Southend.
