Professional services firm Scrutton Bland has announced a number of promotions at senior leadership level across the business.
From 1 April there are three new Partners: Steven Burgess (Corporate Services), Jack Deal (Business Advisory) and Chris George (Tax). There are also a number of people promoted to the newly created role of Associate Partner: Simon Hurren and Sam Stent (both Tax), Ryan Pearcy (SB Digital), Ben Cussons and Emma Clifton (both Business Advisory). Finally, Shirley Greer in the Insurance team steps up to become a Director.
The business has been a fixture in the East Anglian region for over one hundred years and is now in their next stage of growth after the adaptations imposed by the pandemic and the threat of recession.

As confirmation of this I’m delighted to announce that we will shortly be opening a new office in Bury St Edmunds to service the needs of our clients in that part of the region. For our private clients, we know that the upheavals of the past few years have meant many people revaluated their life plans, for example to maybe decide to retire early – by coming to us they can plan for their revised financial strategy to help make that happen.”
