Scrutton Bland has announced their membership of the government’s Disability Confident scheme. The professional services firm joins over 20,000 businesses and other organisations that are currently signed up to the scheme, which aims to play a leading role in changing attitudes and unlocking employment opportunities for disabled people.
The accreditation means that Scrutton Bland is now a Disability Confident Committed Employer, and has pledged to:
- draw from the widest possible pool of talent
- secure high-quality staff who are skilled, loyal and hardworking
- improve employee morale and commitment by demonstrating that you treat all employees fairly.

The scheme offers guidance and sources of support, allowing employers to build their knowledge, skills and reputation and helping them to realise more of the benefits of employing disabled people.
