Andrew King

Client Manager

Andrew's expertise ranges from management accounts to tax compliance work and cloud-based accounting systems.

We are delighted to announce that Andrew King has been promoted to M1.

Andrew works in the Business Advisory department in Colchester managing a portfolio of accounting clients from sole traders to corporate entities, across multiple industry sectors.

Andrew joined Scrutton Bland in 2016 from another firm of accountants. Having qualified as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant in 2018, he was promoted to Senior Accounts Executive in 2019 and then Assistant Manager in 2020. Andrew specialises in the preparation of year-end financial statements, management accounts and financial forecasting. Andrew also assists with tax compliance work such as VAT returns, personal tax returns and Corporation Tax returns. As a Xero certified adviser, Andrew provides support to clients who use Xero and other cloud-accounting systems. Outside of work, Andrew plays football for a local team and also helps manage the Scrutton Bland football team which culminated in victory in the 2019 Nexia EMEA football tournament in Paris where the team beat 31 other teams from Europe, Africa and Asia.
