Our presence in Colchester technically dates back to 1919 when, following distinguished military service in World War One, Frank Bland set up an insurance company on Crouch Street with Cyril Fielden. Other financial services offered by Bland Fielden included accountancy, auditing and tax advice. In 1990 the business merged with the Ipswich firm Scrutton, Goodchild and Sanderson to create Scrutton Bland. Services now included financial advice for individuals, such as pension and investment planning.
In 2007, our Colchester team moved to a new purpose-built office on Colchester Business Park, from where we continue to position ourselves at the forefront of new and emerging financial technology, with services such as cloud-based accounting helping clients to advance their businesses, in sectors including but not limited to:

Our Colchester office is easily accessed from junction 29 of the A12, and there are plenty of on-site parking spaces for visitors in front of the building.
By train
Colchester train station is approximately ten minutes away by taxi, with direct connections to London, Norwich, Ipswich and Chelmsford. More information can be found on the Greater Anglia website.
